Surgimate Continues to Expand Specialties Served with Central Carolina Surgery

Surgimate continues to expand their list of specialties being served with the recent addition of Central Carolina Surgery (CSS). As a 20 surgeon, multi-specialty practice, CSS offers many services for multiple specialties including breast cancer and benign breast disease, hernias, thyroid gland, colon surgery, trauma services, and bariatric (weight loss) surgery. With so many patients experiencing a range of medical conditions and vastly different surgical protocols, the office managers at the practice realized that there were too many steps involved in scheduling each surgery with its unique medical protocol. In addition, there was no workflow tool to help manage the different steps for each type of surgery in the practice. Their current system of updating data in excel spreadsheets was definitely not sufficient to provide the administration with information needed for critical business decisions. CSS realized they needed to upgrade their scheduling system to run their practice more efficiently and accurately.
